GMT White Factor Question

    Hey guys,

    In recently added Sabino 1 to my First Snow Stallion, thinking it would make him look even more stunning, but instead it raised his WF from light to Medium and is blocking out his gorgeous coat.

    My question is how do I return his previous coat while keeping the Sabino 1? Do I GMT his WF back to light or do I remove the w20?

    I would drop his WF back to none or minimal if you want to keep the W20. If you are not breeding KP horses, then getting rid of the W20 would do the trick as well. However, you would need to use caution breeding him to mares with W20, as you could get foals with both sabino 1 and W20 and the foals would appear similar to how he looks now.

    Honestly, I'd get rid of the w20. If raises the white on a horse drastically and makes a lot of them just white out. I'm trying to get rid of it in my lines as is lol.

    But lowering the WF should work as well. You'd probably need none or minimal to see the coat.

    If you don't want much white on a horse at all, then sure. Het sabino doesn't show up much by itself. Here's an example of a het sabino, no other kit or white genes:

    Just altering the WF to a lower one will show white markings though. Here's w20+sb1 at none and minimal WFs

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
