    I’ve been holding off on using this boy for breeding because I’ve wanted to add a few more things. With Kit M on sale, I’d love to add that to him. I know that a foal has a low risk of lethal white if it gets both Kit M and Kit 3. I’d love it if he were able to pass on either M or 3 to his offspring. What happens if you try to add both genes through the GMT lab / gene sales? Will it warn you if it would be lethal and not let you do it? Or, will the horse just disappear? If this were a foal it’s a risk I’d take but I’d hate to spend the money just to have the horse vanish.

    Anyone have experience with this or have some insight?

    You can GMT anything on, even hom frame. It's just when actually breeding you need to worry about lethalities. :)

    Yep, you can give a foundie the most lethal of genes and they will be fine (hom frame, hom splash 2 or splash 3, hom W1 etc). It’s just when breeding that horse (or their offspring) to anything else will you have problems.

    Bolstered by your encouragement, I celebrated being more than half way through my exam week (3 exams out of 5 done) and slapped Kit M and S+ on that fellow. Now, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that DP comes available!
