Allowing horses to be seen on the public sales list

    Is there a bug that allows horses to be seen on the public sales list that have been listed in private chats? There is nothing stopping people from buying these horses by mistake. I know as I have bought a couple this way.
    Is there a special way to put them in our chats so the horse won't show up on the public sales list?

    Horses in private chat are not on the public sales list.

    Perhaps they put them on both the private and public sales board

    You were probably a member of whatever group they were for sale in, thus why they showed up for you to buy

    So say a person that was a member of my chat and she was looking on the public sales list it would show up?
    There was a horse put up for me in my chat and was bought. They said the horse was bought off of the public sales. But they were a member of my chat at the time.
    I guess that it is best to keep you chat clear of other players, except for the ones that I do a lot of business with.
    I guess I am still learning. :)

    @Wendolyne I know for a fact what you're saying to be true as several months ago I purchased two or three horses that I found on the public sales list only to find be contacted by the seller or intended buyer that the horse had been put in a chat and not the public sales list. I reported it as a bug at the time (and even sent Ammit a screenshot of another one I found on the public sales list that was only offered in chat) but it must be as you mentioned that if the buyer is also a member of the chat then this is where the loophole is occurring but it still makes no sense that they are showing up on the public lists--sounds like the bug was not resolved if this happened to you recently.

    I have found myself, a couple of times, just going to the horses control panel page out of habit and putting in the price, when I MEANT to put them up in buddy chat. I like to call it 'user brainfart'.

    I had that happen to me and they said i stole the horse, when in fact i did not belong to any chats at the rime of this and bought it on public sales.
    I sold the horse back at price i paid and whatever I paid to show it. But I sure did not like the way I was treated for it.

New Genetics Guide!

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
