Question About GMT - Won't Allow Me to Change

Hey Y'all,
I have this colt:
Riot1
His parents are both Het for Machhiato SpM, which he missed on sire's side. I went to GMT him Hom and I'm getting an error message saying, "No Edits Are Available For This Gene". Any insight?

Splash M isn’t in the gene lab. Many genes, including all closed genes, are not in the lab so if your horse misses a copy you can’t add it back on.Thanked by 1SummertreeFarms

Oh fooey! I thought if they were lined we could add it back anything they missed from parents. Darn!

Yeah, it hurts sometimes. But the Closed genes and a few others, like W10 and one of the weird Splash genes, are very rarely in there. I’ve wondered if we should ask for a “super premium” upgrade with ALL the genes in the lab maybe if Weekend Wishes ever comes back....but I don’t know how much of a coding nightmare that would be for Ammit.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
