I just bred my pasture this morning, and have some het mu fillies that don’t meet my criteria. I went to sell them, but here’s no Fantasy Sell Back option anymore.

I have very limited time and purposely bred all the mares in my pasture to Hom fantasy stallions so that I could use the FSB to sell them right away, without having to wait for auction to run.

I don't think mushroom is a fantasy gene, and unless they specifically say they have a fantasy gene, you cannot sell back a gene that's not fantasy. ;)

I still have the fantasy sell back option on my ice horses.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You no longer have to use fantasy sell back for fantasy horses -- I think this changed late last month, without a lot of fanfare. :)

You can use regular sellback or put them in the auction -- the auction now limits what horses you can bid on depending on what genes you own.

Edit to add: mushroom is a closed gene. I don't know if it counts as fantasy, since it's based on a real thing. Regardless the auction now can handle closed gene horses, so you're good to sell them that way.

@SpryofJune - you're right, I do have a fantasy sell back button on my Nacre horses from previous months. It will be interesting to see whether new fantasy foals still have the button.

I'm sure they will, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I mean... It would just seem odd for old ones to have it, but not new ones. It also seems like it would be hard to do that, and the game know which ones to allow it on.

I still have the fantasy sell back option on my fantasy foals from this season. Watercolour and Axiom if that makes any difference. It might be that is hasn't been enabled for the new fantasy genes yet?

I don't think mushroom is a fantasty gene, there are real life mushroom ponies. The fantasy genes still have the sell back option at this stage

Ammit has said Mushroom is NOT a fantasy gene so it does not have the fantasy sell back button it is only a closed gene.

Except that mu does show up in the genetic testing results in orange, which is for fantasy genes! :-?
4Star, could you edit the post title to put it in the Bug Report category, just in case?

It will be going away completely in the near future.

And yes, mushroom is not a fantasy gene.

Orange is for closed not fantasy. Not a bug. :)

@ConfluenceFarms i thought Orange ment Closed gene not fantasy?
Otherwise ice 1,5 and 8 would show up orange.
They do say Fantasy genes in red under their name though. :)
