Debate for wrong wrap

Hv RS Wrong Wrap Nx
Should I leave as a mare? Or change to a stud. I am thinking change to a stud. Who is planning to have a mare? I would like to have a couple homozygous babies and I know straws are easier to come by than eggs. But eggs are also much more expensive and cant get as many -
I bought hom WW for a mare because I'm going to cross her with both WW studs and my own Macchiato stallion. I also got Chinchilla on a mare. I prefer to put genes on mares because they are just side projects for me not my main breeding herd (Macchiato is the exception but I put it on a stallion and a mare).

If I could afford to put it on more than one I would. But have been extremely broke and even 1 was a stretch

I made a chin mare as well as a ww because of your logic right there. Everybody wants studs. I don't need a whole 'nother side project at the moment for myself so for me it was the smartest move. Mares for the win at RJF! ;)
Plus... I just made my HG stud hom dp, hom snf, hom kp, and made him leopard app (had hom lp too...so everything worked out beautifully for the snf part too!!).ID# 24891

I’ve done mares for KP and it was very hard just because of sheer numbers and cost. A mare has only so many eggs and it costs lots to use. Usually ok to trade but not always. Most people do 1 egg to 3 straws (based on cost and how many you are statistically able to get I think it should be 1:5 but that’s a different subject). Even with a het. Stallion I normally get 11 intact foals a year (minimal to none pasture bonus SBA and expro to regular create mares). Half of the rest I can immediately sell back to game for a profit. In 3 months I have hom babies. So I would personally recommend a stallion. Or a het. Stallion and het. Mare. (Of course hom both would be even better)
When it’s just a mare that you’re spending a fortune to do advanced breeding lab stuff it’s easier to take a lesser quality foal. If you have a stallion with PF mares or even expro mares that are easier to come by you can have pasture bonus, sheer numbers, and cheaper breeding fee. Sometimes people will pay a decent amount for eggs but it’s surprisingly more work than one would think keeping track of everythingBreeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

I've been putting my genes on mares. Straws are easier to come by with basic, and little het colts come up for sale more often than fillies for expanding. So far I've gone het for mushroom and watercolor just to get my name in. In a few months I hope I throw a hom of each, but I'll chance it.45120
