    Next off, note the kit genes and WF's involved, as well as any white increasing genes. These include splash, frame, and I'm pretty sure W20.

    Stud: Hom w20, Light WF
    Mare 1: KitM, Kitw20, Medium WF, 1 copy of splash
    Mare 2: het W2, extensive WF

    First cross can result in KitW20KitM and Kit W20KitW20. Both of these are safe crosses so no lethal foal here no matter what.

    Second cross has half a chance of resulting in hom kit genes, which will be Kitw20Kitw2. This is a low risk cross but with the W20 being involved and the mare having extensive WF, I would be hesitant. Still this combo will only show up half the time.

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.
