Help with straw pricing

    Right now I'm working on getting some consistent pricing - finding out what will sell well at what price. I think I'm getting the hang of it with horses, but pricing straws is just throwing me for a loop because everyone prices their straws so differently. I'd like to sell more straws in the future, but I just want it to be at a fair and consistent price. How do you price your straws?

    I'm hopeless at straw pricing as well lol!
    My GMT'ed or rarer gene studs I sell straws for around 10k.
    Average studs 1-5k
    Show studs, or uneven horses 500hbs


    I put my GMT'ed or rarer gene straws higher so people are more likely to breed evenly and with quality mares to keep the studs lines of decent quality.


    Also check out horses up for public stud to work out prices. Most add 500hbs on top of public price on straws :)

    I’m helpless too. It’s just easier to do trades. Lol. Or in the case of eggs do auctions. So now I have a pretty good idea of what my KP eggs go for.

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.

New Genetics Guide!

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.

Barn expansions using DTs are now permanently half the price. Also, you can now reset your horse's "Foals this Season" count to zero using a DT. To celebrate both, DTs are 10% off for the next 10 days.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
