@Dunbroc you can also breed the offspring right back to their sire once they age up, since there are no inbreeding complications in the game. Unless they would produce a lethal foal if bred back to their sire.Thanked by 1DoubleMash2

So this really REALLY sucks! NOT ONE single foal stayed intact, defeating the purpose of the whole bootstrapping idea. I will be auctioning everything under 11 PT from that stallion.

@DoubleMash2 When you bootstrap I highly recommend not BA the fillies, only the colts. Only BA the fillies once you are getting colts passing SBA. Most times in the earlier stages of bootstrapping you need to wait for later generations before you can BA fillies, otherwise you will wind up with all altered foals.Thanked by 1DoubleMash2

You can paper the altered colts to get an idea of how your fillies are looking, and it costs nothing to paper the geldings. It’s an easy way to have an idea what paper level your fillies are without spending lots of moneyThanked by 1DoubleMash2

If your bootstraping don't use BA or SBA on the foals. The likelihood of them passing either is very slim. That's why they make such great show horses. I would breed the mares then when the first crop of foals comes of age alter all the foundation mares and start breeding the first group of gen2 to star sir. Again don't test those foals. when the first group of 3gens comes of age then you can test all the 2gen mares you have been using, wont matter if they all get altered or not because you have already bred to them, and repeat. To keep it short don't test your mares until you have a foal crop from them that is ready to breed.Thanked by 1DoubleMash2

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
