    This mare came out of my A papered stud and a RS mare. So she is uneven. Since she is blue papered, if I don't get a star stallion by the time she is ready to breed should I Breed her back to her father?

    Bootstrapping is for breeding the high PT show horses, so if you want to use her for that, which she would certainly be suitable for, just use the high star stallions available in the Bootstrapping group when she is of age. Or someone will have one for sale. You aren't really going to get anywhere fast by putting back to A papered stallions. If your aim is for the high PT show horses that is.

    There would be nothing dangerous as far as lethal genes putting her back to her dad though. There is no penalty or downside in the game to inbreeding.

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.
