Happy Day + 250k Lotto Winner! Thanks, Ammit!
-
I have an Appaloosa HH I really wanted to utilize for some new foundation stock. I was running pretty low on funds, so I decided to just create what I could. My fifth horse was a 250,000 hjb lotto winner! THANK YOU, AMMIT! Now I can create all 30 of my HH : )
In other REALLY HAPPY NEWS, I finally found and saw a doctor today who is familiar with my genetic disease. He doesn't want to have me as a patient (for a good reason: my medical needs are beyond his scope of expertise), BUT HE KNOWS MY DISEASE! That is SUPER big to me. He also gave me some referrals to medical centers that possibly CAN help me. My disease is not common. It's a "doctors ask me 'how do you spell that?'" level of uncommon. It took 20 years (YEARS) of searching for me to even get a diagnosis. "Yay" for rare genetic mutations with limited research and knowledge. To hear a doctor say to me for the first time EVER "yes, I am familiar with and have seen other patients this disease" is like a birthday/Christmas/almost-as-good-as-getting-a-pony level of present.
Also, any other EDS zebras here? For your sake, I hope not. But if you are here, I am sure you understand my level of euphoria right now.
What has been a happy moment in your week? Game life, real life, your pet's life. I want to hear about something that made you smile! -
Congratulations on the lotto :D
I watch couple on YouTube called Simon and Martina (use to be eat your kimchi). Martina has EDS and has posted a few videos about it. Definitely doesn't sound like a nice thing to have!
I imagine it's hard to deal with, my mother goes through daily pain but they can't fully work out what it is. They thought it was MS but both times the tests came back negative.●▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

Thank you! I hope your mom can find some answers soon. Chronic pain is one of the most difficult symptoms of EDS. Please give her a (gentle) hug from me!Looking for Appaloosas? Check out my Riata account.
You matter to me!
You are valued, you are important, and you are loved! ❤️ -
30 years and nothing yet, hopefully she gets a hip replacement soon and that will help alleviate some pain! :)
She said thanks and to send a hug back :D●▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

Congrats on the Lotto, and hello fellow EDS sufferer!
I hope you get the help you need, it sucks to have and it's even worse being in the dark :( I'm a very mild sufferer so I get by with mild pain management, sometimes anti-inflammatory for arthritis but mostly a lot of rest and low level of exercise to keep the muscle around my knees strong.
Um, for good news. I suppose I'm allowed to brag about my Christmas campaign now being on the high street in London? It got released on Monday midnight, and I'm buzzzing! I'm not sure the level of personal stuff I'm allowed to talk about on here, but I did some major work for a very famous store :)#4519
