Help me decide on who to downsize? It is hard for me to decide who to snip? I love them all but am trying to get better quality and only quality to keep.

If these were my Foals first thing I would do is snip uneven horses. Though that is a personal preference and doesn't mean you should do it.

As for papering for my normal foundations
2g foals to paper Red or B
3G foals to paper Red/Blue or A

I havent breed much for 4g but would like then to be Blues or A minimum.

You also have to factor in what colours or pattern you breed for :)

I also factor in AFPT, so mares that are lower in that area get snipped, and foals below a certain point by generation, too. Inconsistency lowers a PT significantly, and even though it seems like it doesn't affect breeding quality, it does affect AFPT, so I started to get rid of them, too.
Even if it seems arbitrary to snip something that might still be good quality, sheer number of what we breed should make up for it and make equal breeders that PT better. :)

I papered some more. It is just difficult when you like everything.

My boys is what I have a hard time with the most. I usually breed all of the mares. I rotate all mares through pasture even if it is just 3 days of pasture bonus. Probably not a good way to breed though.
