    All horses will be homozygous (LlpLlp) for the appaloosa gene. All base colors are possible. Horses might also have other patterns.

    If I still had the HH I could offer to make some but I dismissed it as I don't tend to breed appys. :( I'll try to remember to keep them a bit longer next time so I can see if I can help out

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.

New Genetics Guide!

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.
