DP question (cuz we all know we need for of these XD )

    Okay I've been wondering if my candy appaloosa ha DP for a long time now (since he was three)

    Here is one of his sons who is very dark for being a brown, even though he does have sooty. His dam is very pale but doesn't seem to carry DP to me.

    If I compare Taj to a mare I got from Cheers that has confirmed DP they look so simular.

    If you look at Doodads other foals some to appear to have DP. But I don't want to labor as such if it's not true. Doodad also has varnish and is getting older so it's hard to see his base color now

    I could be wrong but I think they are at least het. DP. They are gorgeous. The two look almost identical.

    I believe they are also but it's hard to tell.
    All three are almost identical. If Taj had socks like the big girls do I'd have a nice matching trio. I might need these three together see what comes of it

    I could be wrong but I think DP makes brown blood bay.

    Dance Off was Het DP through his mom, and fherefore a darker, richer brown than most homozygous browns.

    Get Used To It is just a normal sooty homozygous brown. Remember, homozygous brown horses are much lighter colored than Het browns. Wish, Get's dad, was definitely not DP,

    Here is one of Tajs half brothers. He's a super dark buckskin. Looks to dark to just be from the sooty?

    Again the varnish is in the way but he was incredibly dark before. With my confirmed DP buckskin they look very simular

    My Candy Appaloosa stud threw two liver chestnut stud colts from random create mares who were yummed but don't appear to be carriers, although I guess they must have both had at least one Sooty gene. I've been puzzling over that and planning to put some dark chestnut mares to him and see what's up.

Barn expansions using DTs are now permanently half the price. Also, you can now reset your horse's "Foals this Season" count to zero using a DT. To celebrate both, DTs are 10% off for the next 10 days.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
