Heterozygous or Homozygous DP?

    Here is the girl I'm stuck on, I've never dealt with cremello before so I'm not sure if she is het or hom DP, both parents carry it.

    So I'm pretty sure that this mare of mine is het dp. I can't quite see properly on your horse, but I think she's a tad lighter?

    ObsidianKitsune, your mare is darker because they are perlino and brown based at that, my filly is cremello so would be a bit lighter

    Ah, true. Well, the only way I figured out my mare was dp was I had her give birth to two foals and at least one of them was certainly het dp, and couldn't get it from dad.

    Comparing them, I think you foal is heterozygous, although it is hard to tell.
    Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Watercolor, Wrong Warp and ice on mixed body types.

    That's something else I should have added she has a copy of S+ as well as normal sooty, and from what I've seen S+ doesn't make them quite as dark as normal sooty either way, I can wait for her to be old enough to breed.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
