Ranks

When I look at my Herd Helper and other people's Herd Helper, I notice that there are ranks going from 1 to 5. What are the ranks supposed to mean? Are the ranks for good consistency or for cool patterns? Thanks!

The ranks just indicate how rare a colour or colour combination is. The only ones that dictate breeding or showing are those that have it in their name ((eg top notch producer, great show horse)). There is a rank 6, which are the rank specials. They are always at least PF equivalent, and many have rare genes.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
