Is it bad if you let a C papered 2nd gen foal participate in your breeding program just because they have a desirable gene?

I would say no. I don't care what gene it is. There is always next year, if it's one of your own foals. If its from a straw you bought I can pretty much bet the owner of the stallion would want you to geld the horse and get a new straw.

I generally agree with FJ assuming it's a situation where you can get another foal with the same breeding/potential genes pretty easily. If it's an issue with a LE gene or a deceased parent or something like the Mr Meteoric Milestone straws, I think you need to decide for yourself how much you really want that gene.

if any of us can help you get the gene either from straws from our lines or possibly from excess colts, let us know!

I am doing this with a yellow mare...my meteor millions. None of her babies will ever leave my barn and I am doing it mainly to see what she throws. It is purely experimental and unless she throws some amazing quality babies... they will all become show ponies.
As fj1482 said, if it is from a straw from another player, please don't keep it intact.

If the lines started from exceptional parents then a definite no (IMO) but if they are from basic foundation stock then I think there is a little wiggle room. ... It's personal choice.

Also i bred to lined kit m stallion because I am in love with kit m. I bred foundation mares... They are really badly uneven but passed sba and are red.

Aw he's a Levels baby! Levels was one of my stallions.

So, there's about 270 lined homozygous pearl stallions in the game(so everything from gen 2 up). It's not a super common thing to have, so I think it's ok to grant a little wiggle room. Just remember that his foals won't be as good as foals from a nice, solid A stallion, so if you want to mix lines down the road you might have more trouble. And I would definitely snip him if you get a homozygous pearl A!

I should also mention with by the kit m that I unfortunately do not have the $$$ to put it on one of my guys.

The kit m horses are very uneven. I would either snip them or keep them for a personal show pony line. As long as you only sell spayed/gelded babies and not put them up for public breeding, then it's your choice.
I personally would snip them and ask around and see if you can start a proper kit m line.

I have a little boy I just made for you...I'll send him over when I get home. He is a Gen three SP and you will have to wait for him to grow up but he is even and you can start a kit m line :)

Keep the others if you like...there is nothing wrong with keeping horses for your own personal use :)

I will send you straws from my KitM homozygous KP stallion next season too. Use them with your foundation mares. I will request that you only keep Red/B or even A foals intact.

And I've sent you a straw from this dude, he's not as nice as Cheers stallion but he should help in creating nice kit m horses, I ask the same as Cheers though that you only keep any offspring intact if they are b/red at the least.
