    Height is just randomly selected with in relation to the parents height. There is always a chance to for the foal to be a lot taller or a lot short then their parents

    There's no way to tell if a black horse is carrying DP visually, since DP only affects red hair. You will have to rely on what you can tell or know that her parents are carrying.

    Her coat looks brownish rather than pure black because she's carrying silver.

    I have a horse in real life that is 16 hands. I owned both sire and dam. Sire is 15 2 hands tall and dam is 12 3 hands. Caddo took after his grandsire who was 16 2 hands.

    King Ransom is het DP so she very well could be. Your best bet is to breed her to a homo sty chestnut and see if you can get a liver foal from her to know for sure.
