    So, I was looking through my appaloosas and started looking at this boy. He is my herd sire for my appy's but I want to breed darker appaloosas with no cream. Should I geld (I think) him?

    Since he's homozygous for cream, he'll always give you dilutes. If you're looking for darker appaloosas, you probably won't want to use him. You might want to make him a shower!

    Since he's only 3, you may be able to find a trade somewhere for a darker appy.
