When you sell horses back to the game, other players can't buy them. A horse that is sold back to the game gets archived if it has at least one living foal/descendant; otherwise it is permanently deleted from the game. If the horse is a perfect foundation, the Foundation Rescue (owner #13) will take it instead of deleting it and then offer the horse for resale for 2750 hbs. Foundation Rescue is an automated program run by the game and every horse it owns is for sale. The HuntAndJump Auction Bidder used to be called the Fujiyama Super Yum Yum Company, so if you hear someone talk about "yumming" a horse, they are referring to selling the horse back to the game.
