Breeding Season

    Sorry if this is frowned upon since I posted a question earlier, but I have another one. Since the years in this version are shorter, when does the breeding season take place and for how long?

    You are allowed to ask as many questions as you want. Someone will always be happy to answer.

    Breeding season on HJ2 occurs every month and starts on the 1st for the administrators to be sure there are no bugs, on the 2nd for upgraded members and on the 3rd for everyone else. It ends for everyone at the midnight rollover between the 27th and 28th.

    Upgraded members are each assigned a start time on the 2nd so that the server isn't overwhelmed by too many people trying to start breeding at once. (This used to happen frequently on HJ1 before Ammit started assigning individual start times.) I expect that non-upgraded members are also assigned start times. Your start time should be located at the top of your Stable Home Page.
    Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Watercolor, Wrong Warp and ice on mixed body types.

    I'm glad that the community on here is so friendly.

    So it lasts most of the month for HJ2, whereas in HJ1 it lasts the first three weeks of the new year?

    And yes, I can see my start time and it says on the third day, but it didn't give a date so I was wondering. I don't plan on breeding yet, especially since all of my current mares are only 3 so they can't, but I wanted to know. Thank you!

    Yes, today would be the day you could start breeding. Breeding season lasts until midnight on the 27th for both games. However, Ammit has opened up breeding again for late-season foals in H&J1 today. I'm not sure how long the extra time will last.
