Pasture question
-
How does having two stallions in a pasture work? Do they just breed randomly to different mares or what?ID: 16853

Hi! Yes, the 2 stallions will randomly breed to your mares :)Thanked by 1SummertreeFarms

Which means if you have 50 mares in a pasture, one stallion may breed to 49 of them, and the other to 1!Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

It usually divides the mares more evenly between the available studs, though. For an example, I had 2 full 60 acre pastures with 2 studs each, where one pasture split the mares 27 and 33 and the other split them 29 and 31. That is a lot more usual than having most of the mares going to one stallion.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses.
