    So one is not better then the other because mom has saSa and dad does not have satin I'm just confused why the foal did not get saSa like her mom he got Sasa

    The first gene comes from the dad and the second gene comes from the mum. So your mare inherited her satin from her sire so she is saSa. The foal got satin from his mum so he is Sasa.

    The way the gene test lists the allels is: the first allele is always the one that the foal inherited from its father and the second is the one it got from its mother. So your foal got the satin from its mother, and she got it from her father.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
