Paper levels

    At what generation do you expect a mare to paper *Gold? And what gen do you start snipping all mares that paper Blue? I want to clean up my lines.

    I say by gen 5 they should be gold, but others may say 6. I do have a 4g gold papered mare, though, so eventually I will try to have my 4gs be good papered.

    I would say gen 5-6 as well if you are breeding evenly and expecting high improvement each generation. Right now my very 1st gold is a 6 gen. Everything else is blue or lower. I'm hoping with the new mare papering I can cull harder and get so that I can have all golds by 6.

    Yep gen 5/6. Golds are certainly possible in gen5 and I start spaying all the blues once I have enough Golds to breed from

    Thank you! I have so many 6th-8th gens that are Blue that just got me thinking. A lot of them are my satin girls so I guess they're all gonna get the snip. :) At least I have some Gold girls in those generations :D

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
