Sooty - sty and +
-
Ok so while I was wandering through the forum, looking at peoples horses, I came across a S+. I'm used to seeing either S or Ssty. So what does the plus mean? What's the difference between a horse with sty and +? I thought for a moment that it as DP, but that is meant to be hidden so I don't know what to think.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Sooty + was originally a Limited Edition gene that players paid real life money to add to their horses. It gives a darker, dappled shading from the top line of horses than regular Sooty. It's now available in the GMT lab for 20 tokens per copy. It can be especially dramatic on horses with dilution genes, although I've noticed that it's a bit harder to spot since Ammit began programming the dynamic image generator. Perhaps she hasn't worked on it yet.
This horse gives some idea of the effect of S+ in combination with regular Sooty.

I am very forgetful so if I owe you anything but am taking to long please send me a PM. I don't get on to play the game as often as I once did but I am usually most active during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month -
Off topic but @colorgoodstables I love all the detail and work you've put into Ouroborus's page!
Here is my only Homozygous S+ for you

@Lacy512 thanks so much! He's very special to me. I got him from Cheers when he was 3. He was one of my first quality stallions.
I try to put that on all of my popular studs. Gives them a bit of depth and allows new players to get a bit more info. Anyone is welcome to the same idea (i can provide a copy/paste friendly version) just change the stable name and such
Also you boy looked so much like Ouro I had to check is pedigree----

It's a great idea and I'll probably be implementing something similar this coming season!
And I know! I was surprised when he came up, he's my only s+s+ and I was blown away by how similar he is!8834
