You can pull mares from one pasture to another without losing their bonus if you go to the new pasture's mare menu and go to the bottom where mares in other pastures are marked with a -- before their names. :) Just select the ones you want and add them and they'll keep their bonuses.

Just to make your decision more difficult; Don't forget that all those perfect foundations and exceptionally perfect mares will also do extra well in the show ring, as well as in the breeding shed. I have a barn full of Sty Chestnut perf foundation mares. I want them to earn points while they have babies. It's a trade off for the pasture bonus.
