Candy Cane Mare

If I decide to sell my candy cane mare with gmt attached, what is she worth? Haven't decided for sure yet, but wanted to research :)

So technically the GMT would cost 250,000 hbs to buy outright normally (12,500 hbs per IV and costs 20 IVs). I have no idea what the going rate is for these guys but I probably wouldn't consider anything less than 150k. You be able to scrape what the GMT is worth out of it, especially later this month when people are starting to get a bit desperate. I honestly don't know though.

That could be a possibility. As could a forum auction. I'm just honestly not sure what she might go for!

I don't think she would sell for 250k since if someone was gonna spend that they'd just buy the GMT with IVs. However I could be wrong. Maybe you could just keep her without turning in her GMT and send her to your secret santa recipient so they get a nice little surprise!Thanked by 1SummertreeFarms

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST
