My horse received a negative 2 in his show results.

What does that mean? -
That means he has variability in his show results. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) a horse can carry plus or minus two from his score and still be consistent. In which case, your horse would have to have a score of zero. As it is, your horse probably has a low score until training begins. Feel free to update us on how he does! All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.

He tested inconsistent, so the variability of his show score is more than +/- 2. Looking at his scores so far, I would estimate that he is at least +/-3 with a base score of 0 or 1. If you keep showing him, you may be able to get a clearer picture, though. The spread between his scores isn't necessarily shown in a single week, or even in several weeks.
With a consistency rating of +/-3 and a base score of 1, his show scores can range from as low as -2 to as high as 4, until he starts training. So in a given show, his score might be -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, a spread of 7 points total. With only two shows in a week, there's a lot of leeway for variation in the results.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Ok thank you. He seems to be my only one that showed like that.
