Was a new create when Ammit rolled out the pointed ponies for those of us learning the game. I snipped him as soon as I realized grey covers everything, even though, as a B he was my highest stallion and I dig his look. Lo and behold, we get training bonus for doing exactly that! He's been the rock of my show barn.

This year has been a rough one for me. My buddies are either far away or dead, I lost my job and can't find work, and I feel so damn useless all the time. This game has become a bit of a lifeline, and this community has made me smile and laugh more than just about anything else. So, I was really hoping I'd be able to make a special horse today. A promise to myself that things would get better, so long as I hold on. Wasn't really expecting much, but then I got the RS Cherry Drop HH. I'm usually not a fan of bays, but I figured I'd make a horse, sell it, then try for a random horse that was special.

Then this guy showed up.

I just...I didn't have words. This little man looked exactly like two horses I knew. One was from my time in BCT, and one from my time deployed. It was like having a small slice of that time, the good times, back in my life. I broke down crying when I saw him, and I still can't quite believe how it all worked out.

The point of this topic is to thank you all. You guys are amazing and loving and generous and some of the best people I've never met. Thank you, Ammit, for running this game for all of us. And thank you, game code gods, for giving me a pixel pony that I didn't realize I needed so badly.

I'd like to float an idea to see if it's viable. I have three mares that I think might have eggs in demand. Would it make sense to pull them out of the pasture on day 1, collect eggs on day 2,7, and maybe 12, then return them to the pasture for a two week bonus befote I breed them myself? then I would have 4 potential foals/year out of rare mares, or 1 foal and three eggs to sell or use later.

Does anyone else do this? is there a pitfall I am missing? Might these mares be useful?
