So needless to say... Holiday season can get rough for some of us. You're not alone. Mine does too.

This season has tested the strength of myself, I kind of had some personal issues that I'm battling with currently and I hold a lot of faith and hope that the new year will bring better luck and better love and tighter circle for me.

During the SS event, I also had an unfortunate event, but that's OKAY... because in the dark of night, the hoard was plotting. I laid down yesterday a bit distraught and saddened. I woke up, checked my phone and saw my emails were going crazy!! So many people had stepped up, pitched in a little something (or a lot of something) and made my entire year go out with a BANG!!!

I also decided that even though I couldnt necessarily afford to part with a bunch of my stock over here, that I would still open my doors and let someone else pick stock to gift to others. I was BLOWN AWAY by the amount of interest. Here I had thought I was just little RubyJo minding my own business... my horses went to over 20 new homes, I have semen from my studs all over the place, and there are orders waiting to be filled for next season foal crop. I seriously had no idea the interest and admiration that was had for my stock.

Not. A. Clue.

I cannot even begin to express my appreciation for this community. This is my Safe Haven. This is a place where I've developed friends to chat with. This is a place that I waste time on HEALTHILY. To see the love shared during this hard time for everybody... but especially for me? I cried so many happy tears you guys. So many. I went upstairs bright and cheery, had myself some hot cocoa and spent the next two hours sorting and selectively naming new ponies, doing semen inventory on my main page (gen + PT/paper + genes).

I woke up this morning feeling like a completely different person. All thanks to you guys. I love this COMMUNITY so much, it is WAY more than a game or a simulation. Thank you, @Ammit... for making somewhere fun, safe, and positive for recluses like myself to come and spend some time. I'm not sure where I would be or what else I would be doing if I didnt have this site.... LOL!!!

Here's my boy! I added gray, added watercolour, added Kit M, then had a crisis about his beautiful coat going away so I removed the gray again. I still haven't decided which I prefer, but I hate to throw yet another GMT at it! :-SS I think I'm going to settle for adding KP next time it's in heh. Ugh, I swear sometimes Ammit could run the site on my lack of impulse control alone!

I have a conundrum, my "big" gift is still waiting on the right genes to pop up in the RGS.

I am trying to figure out if I should hold off my reveal for a day or two, in hopes that the needed genes pop up in time.
I really would like that gift to be ready first but don't want to leave my SS hanging.

I have a stockpile of other gifts. Maybe send those on the 24th and explain to my SS that more is coming?

What would you guys do?
